Back to the 1969 with The Beatles

Back to the 1969 with The Beatles! A time machine will transports us back to 1969, and we get to sit in the studio watching The Beatles make great music together. Is it just a crazy idea? Maybe yes, but it is the idea of “Lord of the Rings” director Peter Jackson. He is making a movie about The Beatles with previously unseen studio footage. This will be an unforgettable experience for any fan of the group.

So, the Oscar winner will work with some 55 hours of never – released video plus 140 hours of audio. The film will be about John, Paul, George and Ringo when they worked on their “Let it be” album in January 1969. The Beatles published the “Let it Be” album in May 1970, after they broke up. Originally the unseen footage had be planned for a television program.

Hovever, this experience is a dream for every fan!

Jackson said: “Sure, there’s moments of drama, but none of the discord this project has long been associated with”.

Peter Jackson isn’t working on footage for the first time: he also used this technique for his last film, a World War One documentary using decades-old frontline footage.
