After telling fans he was stepping back from new music, Justin Bieber gave something to cheer, releasing a new song with someone very popular right now, the singer / songwriter Ed Sheeran. That’s happened less than two months after telling he was taking a break. The single is called “ I don’t care”.
It’s not the first time Justin Bieber worked with Ed Sheeran, but their new single “I don’t’ care” was the first time the two chart-toppers have released as a duet.
In the song they sing about feeling out of place at a party and is very autobiographical for both singers. In fact, they made news in the past year by getting married at a secret weddings. So they have more than one thing in common. They are both singers and both married.
Is Justin Bieber really stepping back from new music? We don’t know the answer. Maybe he just wanted to create interest. He told fans he was “focused on repairing some deep rooted iusses” and was putting new music on hold. Bieber’s last album came out four years ago. But last year he collaborated with DJ Khaled. Recently Justin Bieber surprised revellers at the Coachella music festival for a performance of his hit single “Sorry”, after which he said a new album would come “soon”. So maybe it was just a joke.
